Hearty Garden Vegetable Soup

As the cold wind howls outside, you crave a warm, comforting bowl of soup. But staring at the pile of carrots, celery, and onions, the tedious chopping work makes you hesitate—until you spot the Geedel vegetable chopper in the corner. Let it lend a hand: in just minutes, all veggies turn into uniformly small dice, and the joy of cooking is back. 

 Ingredients:

- 2 carrots

- 2 celery stalks

- 1 onion

- 1 potato

- 200g pumpkin

 - 500ml vegetable stock

- Heavy cream/coconut milk (to taste)

- Salt, black pepper, and thyme (to taste)

Instructions:

Step 1: Prep the Vegetables

Wash all vegetables thoroughly. Peel the carrots, potato, and pumpkin, then cut them into large chunks that fit easily into the Geedel manual food chopper. Peel the onion and cut it in half.

Step 2: Attach the Blade & Operate

Select the desired blade from the accessories—take the dicing blade, align it with the slot at the bottom of the container, and listen for a click to confirm the blade is locked in place. Add a portion of carrot chunks first, place your palm on top of the lid, and start chopping decisively: press down firmly and lift, repeating 3-4 times. Open the lid, and you'll find the large carrot chunks have turned into neat, uniform dice. Transfer them to a large bowl.

Step 3: Process in Batches

Follow the same method to dice the potato, celery, and onion one by one. The sealed design of this onion chopper ensures you won't get teary eyes while cutting onions.

Step 4: Cook the Veggies

Melt butter in a soup pot, add all the diced vegetables, and sauté for 5 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the vegetable stock, add thyme, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 25 minutes until the vegetables are completely tender.

Step 5: Blend into Soup

Turn off the heat, insert an immersion blender into the pot, and blend the vegetables and broth until smooth and lump-free.

Step 6: Final Seasoning

Return the blended soup to the pot (if needed), stir in heavy cream or coconut milk, season with salt and black pepper, and heat over low for 2 minutes before serving.
