The warm sweetness of hot honey meets the explosive crunch of chili crisp, complemented by the richness of nuts and the freshness of fruit for a perfect sweet-spicy balance. Ingredients:

For the Base:

¼ cup warm honey (microwave for 10 seconds), mixed with 1 teaspoon chili powder or smoked paprika to make "hot honey."

For the Toppings:

2 tablespoons chili crisp (store-bought or homemade)  

¼ cup mixed nuts (e.g., almonds, cashews)  

½ crisp apple or pear  

Handful of fresh cranberries or pomegranate seeds  

For Serving:  

Brie or goat cheese  

Soda crackers  

Baguette slices  

Instructions:  

1. Prepare nuts and fruit:  

   Roughly chop the nuts. Using the Geedel manual vegetable chopper with the cross-shaped chopping blade, pulse the nuts into coarse pieces. Set aside. Peel, core, and chop the apple or pear into chunks, then pulse in the chopper into small dice. Optionally, spin briefly in the salad spinner to prevent browning.

3. Assemble the platter:

   Place a block of cheese on a wooden board or plate. Drizzle the hot honey around the cheese. Sprinkle chili crisp, chopped nuts, fruit dice, and fresh berries over the honey.

4. Serve:  

   Use crackers or bread to scoop up the cheese along with the toppings and honey.
