Not sure why these disappeared from the stores but I searched high and low for one when my old one broke. This one works great and is pretty. Super sharp blade so be careful and don't cut yourself while cleaning like I did!

We love our food chopper- great for cutting onions, crabmeat (sushi night), tomatoes are some things we use this for. The chopper is easy to clean but you can’t stuff it or else it will not chop. Be mindful on how much to put in for best results. The chopper is small enough to place in the cabinet without taking g too much space.

Exactly what I needed. I use it to chop big leaf salads. It keeps me from having to "shove" these leaves, and it I achieve better seasoning. The only improvement to it would be if it were electric. Update: The lid operating the blades, if washed, will keep water trapped inside, with no way to get out. The manufacturer needs to improve this design to allow for the drying process.

Small but cuts very well.

I received an open boxed (warn old taped box) originally, but the company sent me a new one right away. I sent the first one back.This has turned out to be a great tool, at first I only did leafy things ( which is kind of a pain because this is smaller than I'd want), but this last salad I did my spinach (well dried), onion, celery, and red cabbage in it...added 2 types of beans, corn, and pecans. Usually takes me 1.5-2.0 hours. I finished in half of an hour.Making sure my veggies were dry helped a lot.Dangerously sharp-even when you are super conscious and careful, so be careful.A the handle is a bit flimsy, and again smaller than I thought, and it's all plastic (I thought m8ne was going to be stainless steel), but it does chop things well.👍👏👏

My new kitchen staple

I love this! My brother came to visit and actually brought his with him because he uses it so much. I loved it so much I immediately bought one. It chops through all my vegetables into beautiful small bites. So easy to use and clean. I accidentally ordered the small size, which is fine, but now I want the bigger one as well. So much easier than using my food processor.

Easy to use chopper

So far it handles well. Good size. Pretty easy to clean. A little annoying to store due to the crank but I would buy this again.

Practicality

I love these choppers. It's amazing what you can do with it. Egg salad the paddle is great for whipping cream. Chop onions. Just about anything. I got mine for $25. Third one I've owned and that's over several years.

Food must be cut small

It's ok. But not sure how much time it saves me. You have to cut the pieces small enuf to use this chopper. Otherwise, things get stuck and you must turn the crank counter clockwise to get it going again.

A real go getter!

It works excellently and, for the price, is very helpful. Only four stars because of plastic components, i don't think this product will last.

Nice chopper

This is a very nice manual chopper. The blades are very sharp and protector covers on them when it arrives. Unfortunately I had to return it because I had an injury to one arm and I am unable to adequately turn the handle to chop nuts or cheese. Also note it has a wide bowl so you probably need at least one full cup if not more to really chop items. From China.

Great if you find eating salads frustrating

I hate how eating a salad involves repeatedly stabbing at it to collect a mouthful onto the fork.So I buy a salad, then I dump it into this device and crank it ten times. Instant chop salad. Much easier to eat. Much more uniform texture and flavor. As a result, I'm eating more salads.There are a couple of things that are not great about this chopper: It's not what I'd call sturdy, for one. It's made out of all plastic and I'm sure the arm will snap sooner than later. Also, when I wash the lid, liquid gets inside and the lid can't be opened, so there's no way to completely eliminate the water inside. I'm concerned that it will mold over time and pose a hazard.
