A Great Kitchen Tool!The Geedel slicer is hands down a five-star product! So far, I’ve used it to slice an apple and make sweet potato fries, and it did a fantastic job. My husband did have to use a little extra force when cutting the sweet potatoes into fries, but that was expected since sweet potatoes are much firmer than regular potatoes. The results were absolutely worth it! I’m glad I didn’t purchase one of the $100 to $200 options.Shipping was quick, and I love that it comes with multiple blade attachments that make slicing and prepping food so much easier. I can’t wait to use it with a large russet potato for homemade French fries. Overall, it was easy to clean with a light rinse and brush, and is a great addition to my kitchen. I highly recommend it as it seems sturdy and built to last as it was very stable and did not slip under pressure.

Blades hold water, so I can't put them in the dishwasher, defeating the point for me.

Blades are not sealed well so water gets inside the plastic, can never get them all the way dry thanks to this if I put it in the dishwasher. If I have hand wash it every time, I'll just use a knife, I got this to make clean up easier, as I will not put my good knifes in the dishwasher. This was suppose to be something I could use and toss in there and not real care.

Awesome but could have additional blades to meet all my needs

It's great I had one that was rectangular and I had some problems with wedging onions and apples. ( I gave it away - it was good but didn't meet all my need) This can handle the bigger size. But I have to use the apple core blade, I wish that there was a 6 an 8 and a 16 wedge blades in this package. I would have paid for those additional blades. I would have loved it even more if it had a spacer for making bloomn onions using the apple core blade. The product is awesome

I am obsessed with kitchen gadgets and this chopper is one of my top picks.I was a little skeptical at first and thought “how will this thing chop a potato?” Well let me tell you, it’s pretty amazing. It’s so sharp and simple. I am 5ft tall and thought that it would take a taller person with some strength to push down on this thing and I was mistaken, it takes minimal effort. I sometimes like chopped potatoes and all I need to do is cut them in thirds or quarters and easy chopped potatoes (otherwise all I would have are fries)I highly recommend this chopper.

Pain Free!

AMAZING! I have had several apple slicers over the years. Most broke and were very painful to use with my arthritic hands. This cutter slices so easily. I place the apple and then press down with my forearms to slice. Very little pressure needed compared to the ones with handles on the side. NO PAIN!!! Bonus is the two other slicers to cut strips of other vegetables. A must buy if you are looking for a pain free slicer!

Great rice cuts quickly

Sharp blades be careful. Was concerned as to the amount of push pressure needed as I am disabled and sometimes lack the ability to work tools like this. Pleasantly surprised .wish it had straight blades for like onions and cucumbers but for the price it's a winner. Makes great fries!
