Ingredients:

- 4 Granny Smith apples (about 600g)

- 100g fresh cranberries

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice

- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Instructions:

Prep the Apples

Wash and peel the apples. Remove cores with a corer and cut into eighths. Soak in lemon water for 5 minutes to prevent browning, then pat dry with paper towels.

Dice Precisely

Bake and Monitor

Bake on the lower rack of a preheated 190°C oven. Check the browning after 35 minutes. If the edges brown too quickly, cover with a foil ring. Bake for a total of 40-45 minutes, until the filling bubbles and the topping is golden brown.

Cool and Serve

Cool on a wire rack for at least 45 minutes to allow the filling to set. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best flavor.
