Loaded Beef Burritos
There’s nothing more comforting than a hearty, fully loaded, and flavorful burrito. Whether as a solution for a busy weeknight dinner or a shared treat during weekend game-watching, homemade burritos always bring satisfaction. Your Geedel manual food chopper will handle all the tedious prep work in one go—from chopping salsa to making smooth guacamole and evenly mixing seasoned beef—allowing you to easily recreate authentic flavors at home.
Ingredients:
For the beef filling:
450g lean ground beef
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 garlic cloves
1 package (about 30g) taco seasoning mix
Salt and pepper
For assembly:
4 large flour tortillas
1 cup cooked black beans or pinto beans
1 cup cooked rice
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
For homemade sauces:
2 ripe avocados
Juice of 1 lime
Handful of cilantro
1/4 red onion
1 tomato
Salt to taste
Instructions:
1. Prepare the vegetable base and salsa:
Cut the onion, bell pepper, garlic, and tomato into chunks. Install the cross-shaped chopping blade in your Geedel food chopper.
First, add half the onion, all the bell pepper, and all the garlic. Close the lid tightly and turn the handle to chop into fine dice. Set aside as the base for cooking the beef.
Without cleaning the container, add the tomato, remaining onion, and cilantro. Pulse a few times to create a coarse fresh salsa. Set aside.

2. Cook the beef filling:
In a skillet, sauté the diced vegetable base until fragrant. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up. Sprinkle in the taco seasoning, add a little water, and simmer for a few minutes until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
3. Make smooth guacamole:
Empty and dry the container, then switch to the mixing paddle. Add the avocado flesh, lime juice, and salt.
Close the lid and turn the handle continuously until a very smooth, creamy guacamole forms.
4. Assemble and bake:
Warm the tortillas slightly to soften. In the center of each, layer rice, black beans, seasoned beef, shredded cheese, fresh salsa, and guacamole.
Fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll tightly from the bottom.
Place the burritos seam-side down on a baking sheet. Sprinkle extra cheese on top if desired. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10–15 minutes, until the outside is crispy and the cheese inside is melted.
Summary:
These hearty burritos are an excellent choice for family meals. The versatile attachments of the Geedel vegetable chopper efficiently handle all prep work—from dicing vegetables to making sauces—making it as simple as assembling an exotic main dish at home, with flavors far surpassing takeout.
