Spinach Feta Turkey Burgers

Burgers don't have to be high-calorie fast food! This Mediterranean-style turkey burger is juicy and full of flavor. The secret? Using the Geedel Food Chopper to perfectly blend spinach and feta cheese into the meat, ensuring every bite is evenly flavorful and tender (never dry).

Ingredients:

- 400g ground turkey

- 50g fresh spinach

- 50g feta cheese

- ¼ red onion

- 1 garlic clove

- 1 teaspoon dried oregano

- Salt and black pepper (to taste)

- Whole-grain burger buns or lettuce leaves (for wrapping)

Instructions:

1.Make Flavor Filling:

Attach the cross chopping blade to the Geedel Vegetable Chopper. Cut the red onion and garlic into chunks, add to the container, secure the lid, and spin the crank to chop. Next, add the spinach and block of feta cheese. Secure the lid again and spin the crank until the spinach is chopped and mixed with the cheese and onion-garlic mixture into uniform green bits. Be careful not to over-process into a paste.

2.Evenly Mix Burger Meat:

Use the included mixing paddle as a tool. Add the ground turkey and all the flavor mixture from Step 1 to the container. Stir in dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix in one direction—this fully combines the filling without over-mixing (which makes meat tough). Stop once all ingredients are just incorporated.

3.Shape and Cook:

Divide the mixed meat into two equal portions. Lightly wet your hands, roll the meat into balls, then gently press into patties of even thickness. Spray a preheated pan or baking sheet with a little olive oil. Cook the patties over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through with a golden surface.

4.Healthy Assembly:

Serve on whole-grain burger buns, or for lower carbs, wrap the patty in large lettuce leaves with tomato slices and onion rings.
