Thanksgiving Turkey Mushroom Pasta

Want a Thanksgiving main course that's both quick and rich? With the Geedel vegetable chopper, you can easily dice turkey and mushrooms into uniform pieces—no electricity needed, and no tears while chopping onions. In just 25 minutes, serve up pasta coated in a savory sauce, blending the heartiness of turkey with the earthy flavor of mushrooms. A dish the whole family will love!

Ingredients  

- 200g pasta  

- 250g turkey breast (cut into small pieces)  

- 150g button mushrooms (sliced)  

- ½ onion  

- 3 garlic cloves  

- 1 can (400g) crushed tomatoes  

- 2 tbsp olive oil  

- ½ tsp salt  

- A pinch of black pepper  

- 1 tsp dried basil  

- 30g grated Parmesan cheese (for garnish)  

Instructions

1. Chop Meat & Vegetables – Efficient Multi-Ingredient Prep  

Place turkey breast into the vegetable chopper and press once to create even 1.5cm dices—five times faster than knife work, and the uniform pieces brown beautifully without clumping.  

Add mushrooms, onion chunks, and peeled garlic to the chopper. Switch to the fine-chopping blade and press twice until finely minced. The mushroom pieces release deep flavor, while the onion remains sweet and tear-free—all without switching tools or extra cleanup.

2. Cook Sauce & Pasta – Rich but Not Heavy  

Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sauté the turkey dices until they turn white. Add the mushroom-onion-garlic mixture and cook for 3 minutes until fragrant.  

Pour in the crushed tomatoes, and season with dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.  

Cook the pasta until al dente, then drain and toss into the sauce, ensuring every strand is evenly coated.
