Greek-Style Lamb Pita Wraps
Grilled lamb infused with aromatic herbs and Mediterranean spices, tucked into soft pita bread with refreshing cucumber yogurt sauce (Tzatziki), makes for an unforgettable street food experience. Your Geedel hand vegetable chopper not only quickly minces the lamb and blends the spices but is also the core tool for creating a smooth Tzatziki, perfectly solving the problem of cucumber excess moisture.
Ingredients:
For the lamb filling:
400g ground lamb
½ onion
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Salt and black pepper
For the cucumber yogurt sauce:
½ cucumber
1 cup Greek yogurt
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon fresh dill or mint
Salt
For serving:
4 pita breads
Tomato slices
Red onion rings
Lettuce leaves
Instructions:
1. Prepare the seasoned lamb filling:
Cut onion and garlic into chunks. Install the chopping blade in your Geedel manual food chopper and process into fine pieces.
Add ground lamb, oregano, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Turn the handle several times until all ingredients are well mixed and the lamb reaches the desired consistency.
Shape the lamb mixture into logs or patties, then pan-fry or grill until cooked. Slice before serving.

2. Make the key cucumber yogurt sauce:
Peel and cut the cucumber into chunks. Quickly chop using the chopping blade. Immediately transfer the chopped cucumber to the salad spinner basket, close the lid tightly, and spin the handle to remove excess moisture.
Empty the container and switch to the mixing paddle. Add Greek yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, dill, and salt. Turn the handle to mix well, then stir in the drained cucumber.
3. Assemble:
Lightly warm the pita breads. Layer with lettuce leaves, tomato slices, red onion rings, and the cooked lamb slices.
Generously drizzle with the homemade cucumber yogurt sauce, then roll or fold to enjoy.
Summary:
The success of this flavorful wrap depends on even spice distribution and the refreshing texture of the sauce. The Geedel manual food chopper efficiently handles the meat mixture, and its unique spinning function ensures the Tzatziki stays thick without separating—a decisive step in recreating authentic Mediterranean flavors.
