Juicy Cheeseburger with Secret Sauce
A sizzling, thick, and aromatic burger on the grill is the soul of an American summer. The secret to a top-tier burger lies in the seasoning and juiciness of the patty, along with that perfect finishing touch—a special secret sauce. Your Geedel manual food chopper quickly minces onions finely for mixing into the meat and emulsifies various sauces to create addictive flavors.
Ingredients:
For the burger patty:
700g ground beef (about 20% fat)
1/2 onion
1 garlic clove
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper
For the 'secret sauce’:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon chopped pickles
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper
For serving:
4 burger buns
Lettuce leaves
Tomato slices
Onion slices
Cheddar cheese slices
Instructions:
1. Prepare the burger patty mixture:
Cut the onion and garlic into chunks. Install the chopping blade in your Geedel vegetable chopper and mince finely.
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced onion and garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and plenty of black pepper. Use your hands to gently mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.

2. Make the secret sauce:
Empty the container (no need to wash) and switch to the mixing paddle. Add mayonnaise, ketchup, chopped pickles, yellow mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Close the lid and turn the handle until all ingredients are fully emulsified and the sauce is smooth and uniform.
3. Cook the burgers:
Divide the meat mixture into four portions, shape into balls, and gently flatten into thick patties (slightly indented in the center to prevent puffing). Cook on a grill or skillet over high heat for about 4–5 minutes per side (adjust to desired doneness). Place cheese slices on the patties during the last 2 minutes to melt.
4. Assemble:
Slice and toast the burger buns. On the bottom bun, layer lettuce, the cooked patty, tomato slices, onion slices, and a generous drizzle of the "secret sauce." Top with the other half of the bun.
Summary:
A perfect burger is a triumph of details. The Geedel chopper ensures finely minced onions for a tender, juicy, and evenly flavored patty, while its emulsified sauce combines complex flavors that far surpass any single condiment. This is the key to elevating a homemade burger to ‘ultimate’ status.
